Welcome to the Perfect Manifesto post highlights for March, 2021.
This months image features David Goggins, an endurance athlete, public speaker and retired US. Navy SEAL. I first discovered David through Instagram where he would often be shouting motivational advice, while on a long distance run. This has really inspired my mindset – his don’t quit attitude has often inspired me to run further than I thought I was capable of.
If you like books about mindset, then I fully recommend checking out his book Can’t Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy The Odds. It offers an insight to his thinking and also shares his remarkable story from his time in the military, to racism, to his abusive father. A review said “By the time you finish David Goggins’s new book, you’ll have kicked your victim mentality in the butt.”
Wishing you the best in your success.

Gratitude:
As Coronavirus lockdown continues to challenge our health and wellbeing, here are 3 reasons to continue to be grateful.
Humility and Self-Promotion:
A struggle for humble people all over the world is being able to hype our achievements. This often means we get ignored and overlooked by people quite comfortable bragging. This post gives you some ideas how to talk up your successes with humility.
Walking:
I was out walking to the local shops when I saw a neighbours car zoom past and park up in the same destination to the short trip I was taking. This made me ask the question “Does nobody walk anymore?” Here is why you should…
Calvin and Hobbes:
My love letter to the greatest comic to ever hit the broadsheets. Calvin and Hobbes created by Bill Waterson was a beautifully drawn – each strip a work of art, brilliantly funny and fully developed characters. I discovered these strips as a child and have remained a fan every since. Check out some of the wisdom shared…
Elsewhere…
Check out my guest post on Unwanted Life. Here I share a story of a workplace breakdown following a confrontation with a controlling manager. Read: My Broken Mind.
