A long time…

Many years ago I was on a night out with University friends.  After many drinks I sat settled in the corner, I got talking with a girl on my course and some how we got to discussing her traveler background.  This led to the revelation that she had the ‘sight’ – the skill of being able to see into the future.

“Would you like me to read your palm?” she said.

I laughed and said sure… I wasn’t quite sure if she was actually serious, but next thing I know she grabbed my hand and started to read my palm…. Continue reading “A long time…”

System: The Power of Three

I have had a bit of a hiatus from posting recently.

Since starting the blog I have been well disciplined to ensure that there has been new content every week (or more) because when I started I knew that I did not want to be one of the those blogs that post inconsistently and started with one of those weak, pathetic opener of:

“Sorry I haven’t post in a while guys, my life has been super hectic right now…”

January 2015: Goals Update

A week ago I reviewed my initial goals that I set in September.  As part of this process I gave a bit of time to think how I would develop, add and drop goals – as appropriate.  This has now been updated and I will be working on these tasks for the next three months, where I will review my progress.

I called it the post mid year resolutions to reinspire a lack of focus.  I am please to say it worked – I have developed, and completed some of these objectives.

Now it is a New Year, I did not want to come up some random new objectives, but continue working on what I had set.  I found 2014, one of the most fulfilling years of my life for improvement and want this to continue.  So I reviewed what I set, with the plan to realistically develop my goals: Continue reading “New Year Goals 2015”

Stop looking after my friends so much

I set some post mid year resolutions because I wanted to get my self-improvement goals back on track after a slump. I detail how I will go about achieving my goal using SMART objectives, with a contingency plan for if I am not able to do this

Why have I set this?

During my birthday I shared my Blackpool story with a mutual friend.  They helped me reach peace with the endless guilt I had felt all those years.

I realised that generally – I carry my friends too much.  I constantly find jobs for them to apply for that they never bother to do, I pay for drinks and meals because I make more money than them, which I only do because I am willing to work harder and I go out of my way to give them lifts.
