In January, I challenged readers of this blog to Take the Real World Offline Challenge!

This was motivated by my own anxieties triggered by spending too much time plugged in, not dedicating enough time to personal passions such as writing because I was so busy on social media.

Since that time I have spent more time escaping the online world, by building personal connections in my life.

Even  Coronavirus has not stopped me and my post How to Recover from Burnout and Overstimulation During COVID-19 Lockdown gives more inspiration on dealing with the continued pressures of consuming too much information.

Take out the tech and shun the social media!

I encourage you to do the same:

  • Switch off
  • Relax
  • Make time for loved ones
  • Focus on creating rather than consuming

Check out my infographic below for ideas to disconnect and start appreciating reality more!
